I imagine that most of these are pretty tame by todays standards. Some do seem pretty steamy though, if the tag lines are any indication. Tons of publishers put out these in the 50′s – 70′s, none of which are still going today (I think). Men and women wrote these books under multiple pseudonyms at a per word price – the more books the more cash. The famous/infamous director Ed Wood wrote quite a few under his own name as well as Emil Moreau, Sheri Blue, Dick Trent (to name a few).
